Mighty Tops

I took a prototype game, Mighty Tops, from concept to fully functioning mobile shooter with multiplayer action on iOS & Android. Written in C# with Unity3D and a NodeJS backend for matchmaking, scoreboards, and microtransactions. Since our company was contracted for this work by a 3rd party, following a specification and meeting milestones on time was extremely important.

Mighty Tops featured fast paced multiplayer and single player action, with the ability to upgrade your character with purchases in-game.

I also took full advantage of mobile features like push-notifications, alerting players when friends challenged them to a match. Using deep links, clicking the notification would bring them right into the action.

The game also featured a single-player survival shoot-em-up mode, with both public and friends-only leaderboards.

Players could drag and drop to preview their upgrades before purchasing them from the in-game store.

Three unlockable maps were rewarded to players as they leveled up.
